The Somatic Signature
​
Our Five-Week Somatic Release Series meets every Thursday at 6 PM EST Live. Each live session is 45-minutes in duration. During our live sessions, you will learn about the nervous system, breathing techniques to calm your nerves, daily techniques to try each week to see what works for you, and a movement flow. Then every day throughout the five weeks, you will receive a daily 10 to 20-minute movement flow. This will support you through the week.
In our movement flows, we focus on Pandiculation and Nerve Flossing.
Pandiculation is the natural way the nervous system resets muscle length. By consciously contracting a muscle and then releasing it very slowly, you "re-educate" the brain to let go of chronic tension (like that "Strong AF" armor in your shoulders).
The Vagus Nerve Connection

The center of our flows is the Vagus Nerve—the "Information Superhighway" of your soul. This nerve regulates your heart rate, digestion, and your ability to feel "calm."
The Flow: We use specific eye movements, neck rotations, and diaphragmatic breathing to stimulate the Vagus nerve.
The Result: This activates your parasympathetic nervous system (the "Rest and Restore" mode), effectively turning off the "House Fire" alarm in your brain.
Nerve Flossing
Clearing Communication Lines

Just as a soldier ensures their comms are clear before a mission, Nerve Flossing (neurodynamics) ensures your physical communication lines are open. Trauma and chronic stress cause the tissues around your nerves to become "sticky" or inflamed, creating a physical "kink" in your system.

What it is: Unlike a static stretch (which pulls the nerve from both ends), flossing involves a rhythmic "gliding" motion. You gently pull the nerve from one end while releasing it at the other.

How it works: This movement glides the nerve through its surrounding soft tissue (the sheath), breaking up adhesions and improving blood flow to the neural pathway.

The Result: It reduces that "brittle" feeling, eases chronic pain, and signals to the brain that the limb is no longer under threat. It is the physical act of "releasing the heavy bricks" you've been carrying.
